Your Role

We within Special Mission and Regional Aircraft, the area of Design Management and Airworthiness, are now looking for an engaged project manager within the framework of design approval related to development methodology.

You will be part of cross-functional teams where you will work together to create solutions that, for example, streamline processes, develop our regulations/manuals, and drive digitalization. As a project manager, you will be responsible for time, technology, and finances, but also for driving the business forward by using lessons learned from previous experiences and identifying new opportunities for efficiency. You will lead one or more projects in parallel, together with a steering group for each project, all according to Saab's established project process.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Leading projects within business development, from idea to implementation.
• Responsibility for project budget, timeline, and quality.
• Collaboration with various stakeholders, both within and outside the organization.
• Identifying and analyzing improvement potentials.
• Documentation and communication of the project's progress.

We offer a dynamic work environment linked to exciting technology development for one of Saab's most unique products, GlobalEye, where there is a high market demand and where we are now taking new steps into a new platform. Our area is characterized by tight teamwork between different engineering disciplines, primarily in Linköping and Gothenburg but also in other locations both in and outside Sweden.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in both technology, projects, and business transformation. We value leadership qualities such as engagement, responsiveness, adaptability, and the ability to communicate clearly and inspiringly. To thrive and succeed in the role, we see that you have a strong drive, a passion for your work, and an analytical ability to draw conclusions even when all details are not entirely clear. Since the role involves a broad network, it is also important that you have a good ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.

To succeed and thrive in the role, you have:

• Experience in project management within business development
• Experience in change management within organizations
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Good IT skills, preferably with in-depth experience of modern design tools and the Office suite
• Some knowledge or experience in digitalization

It is also meritorious, but not a requirement, if you have knowledge in systems engineering.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the current regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
